We need volunteer visitors to help us establish friendly, confidential contact with people who are applying to us for help and for a those who become our beneficiaries. Meetings take place in applicant's or beneficiary's own homes. Volunteer visitors provide invaluable help to us in deciding just what help is needed. It is our experience that often people don’t ask for enough help in their initial approach to us.
As each applicant’s or beneficiary’s needs are unique, meeting one of our trained volunteer visitors is an ideal opportunity for us to find out how best we can help.
Visitors work on their own but in direct contact with Caseworkers in our office in London who will support you in every way they can. We provide training to all volunteers, pay reasonable expenses and will submit your details for a Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) check as we must do by law.
