The Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon
If you enjoy running, but don’t quite feel that you’re ready to run a full Marathon just yet, we’re pleased to announce the launch of a brand new half Marathon in the autumn. The Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon is a 13.1mile event to be held in London on 12th October 2008
The Event shall start and finish within Hyde Park, London and will encompass the four Royal Parks of central London. The route will wind its way through the stunning autumn landscapes of St. James's Park and The Green Park, as well as parts of Kensington Gardens which have never officially been raced through before!
Runners and spectators alike will be able to experience some magnificent close-up views of the capital's most iconic landmarks including Buckingham Palace, Wellington Arch, the Houses of Parliament, the London Eye, the Royal Albert Hall, the Albert Memorial and Marble Arch. We are extremely happy to have guaranteed places in its first year as the Royal Parks Half Marathon promises to be one of the most enjoyable and memorable events in the running calendar.
Elizabeth Finn Care has 9 guaranteed places available on a first-come first served basis - so if you would like to run in aid of Elizabeth Finn Care, please contact Duncan Watkinson on 0207 396 6695, or email running@elizabethfinn.org.uk
