Typically, the people we help were once self sufficient; with good qualifications, holding down responsible jobs, who have suffered from events which have left them struggling to cope on very little money, they are of British or Irish nationality.
We can give grants to those whose jobs required education that equates to NVQ Level 4 and above. For those people who were working before these qualifications existed, there is a wide range of occupations within our client group listed below.
We can also help you if you relied upon someone who now meets or met our eligibility criteria during their working life. So, if your partner (current or past) may have qualified for our help, so may you. You must be over 18 to apply to us.
But everyone who applies to us is assessed individually. So, if, for example, we know of an organisation that is better placed to help you or can do more, we will refer you to them at the outset. But, if you are in any doubt about your eligibility, please get in touch and we’ll work together to find the best way forward.
