Mr Dunn served in the Signal Corps and the Military Police. A long-standing, but un-reported, back injury eventually forced him to give up work. As no medical records exist to pinpoint the start of his back problems, Mr Dunn was unable to receive any sort of compensat5ion. His wife had to become his full time carer and he lived in excruciating pain until a third and final operation brought some relief.
The Dunns applied to Elizabeth Finn Care and were overjoyed to be accepted. An EFC grant enabled the Dunns to holiday in a special care facility - Mr Dunn got the care he needed to cope with his injury and his wife was able to get a break from her caring responsibilities. They also received a grant for a car rack so the Dunns can take his wheelchair wherever they like so they can get out and about together.
